It’s that time again, time to plan the menu and get ready for the week. I have some repeats on here this week, but that’s because we went out to Chili’s one night with a gift card I won (yay me!) and we had an unseasonably warm day, so I made burgers on the grill one night. So I have a couple meals on here from last week. Have you planned your menu yet?
Mon - Baked Chicken with Parmesan and Herbs – I’m probably going to add some herbs to this since the recipe really doesn’t have any. I’m guessing maybe their breadcrumbs have herbs? Not sure. I’m going to use panko breadcrumbs and will add some fresh thyme probably :)
Tue - Best Meatloaf Ever - I didn’t end up making this last week, so this week it is!
Wed – Pork in Lemon Juice and Herb Marinade – A tried and true incredibly easy marinade from Julia Child.
Thu - Homemade Pizza – Everyone gets so excited when I make this. I already have the homemade Italian sausage, some pepperonis, and some homemade pizza sauce in the freezer. Just need to pick up some Mozzarella!
Fri – Sloppy Joes – I’m actually trying a canned version from Red Gold, tater tots on the side.
Sat – Ham and Leek Casserole – from Good Home Cooking by Diana Peacock page 56. Sounds good, I’ll have to convert it all from metric as that’s how the book’s written, but should be tasty.
